ETS Liabilities

Ohau Sands has 48.60 hectares captured by the Emissions Trading Scheme, (ETS), and is compliant post the 2018 replant.

ETS legislation allows owners with full legal title, i.e., privately owned sections 1-15, to clear up to 2 hectares every five years of the replanted pines within their sections.

This excludes the common area, Lot 17, which is owned by the residents.
